It is our mission to invest in the children of Lighthouse Alliance so that they might follow after Christ and His example of Loving God, Living in community, Leading through humble servant hood, and Lighting the way, so that others might see and come to know the Father. It is our goal to accomplish this through the Children's Sunday Ministries here at Lighthouse. The Children's Ministries Coordinator is Sandi Hartman.

Tiny Treasures (Nursery) The purpose of the nursery ministry is to provide a safe, loving, comforting and fun atmosphere for infants and toddlers up to age 2 1/2, while at the same time ministering to the parents by allowing them time to worship and hear God's Word, knowing that their child is well cared for. We are committed to show God's love to each child as we care for their individual needs. The nursery is available at both the 9:00 & 10:30 services at the start of service. Our nursery coordinator is Christine Sands.

Blooming Blessings (2 1/2 & potty-trained-4 years old) The purpose of the pre-school ministry is to provide a safe, loving environment to reach each child as we teach basic foundational truths of God's Word through stories, games, activities, and music at a level that they can understand. Our hope is that every child leaves this class with an understanding of God, His creation, His Son Jesus, and how precious each one of them are to Him. The coordinator for this class is Danyell Hart.

Jumping Jewels (Pre-K-Kindergarten) The purpose of this ministry is to continue to build on basic biblical truths through stories, music, games, and activities in a way that meets their needs at this very active age. Our hope is to reach their hearts for Jesus while appreciating the way God has created each and every one of them. Kathy Lynch is coordinator of this class.

Children's Church Challengers (1st-4th grade) The purpose of the children's church ministry creates an environment in which the children can be excited about church as they worship freely, pray, and hear God's word. We will continue to build on the bibilical truths from both the old and new testament so that they can grow in their knowledge of Him and equip them, as God's children, to live for Him. This is done through teaching, drama, puppets, object lessons, game, crafts, and life applilcation. The coordinator for Children's Church is Sandi Hartman.

Daring Disciples (5th & 6th grade) The purpose of the 5th and 6th grade class is to continue to build on the truths in God's word while challenging each child in their personal obedience and accountability to those truths in every area of their lives. This is done through study of God's Word followed by discussion, life application, and activities that challenge each child to grow in their personal relationship with Jesus. They are encouraged to live out this life of faith at home, in school, in their community, and in their personal relationships so that others might see Christ in them. This ministry is overseen by Denine Amirr.

*With exception to the Tiny Treasures, all children's ministries are offered only at the 10:30 service. Children begin in the main sanctuary with their parent(s) and then are dismissed to their appropriate class after the Praise portion of the worship service. The Daring Disciples do not meet on the first Sunday of each month. They are encouraged to participate in the Communion Service.
